The museum is located at the northeast end of Big Bear City Park off Greenway Drive, just east of the airport.
- From the city of Big Bear Lake, take Big Bear Boulevard east to Greenway Drive. Turn left onto Greenway Drive. Turn right into the entrance of Big Bear City Park, on Tom Core Drive.
- From Fawnskin, take North Shore Drive east to Greenway Drive. Turn right onto Greenway Drive. Turn left into the entrance of Big Bear City Park, on Tom Core Drive.
- From Lucerne Valley, take Highway 18 to Big Bear Valley. Turn left at Greenway Drive in Big Bear City. Turn left into the entrance of Big Bear City Park, on Tom Core Drive.
- From the east end of Big Bear Valley (Highway 38), take Big Bear Boulevard west to Greeway Drive. Turn right onto Greenway Drive. Turn right into the entrance of Big Bear City Park, on Tom Core Drive.
Once at the park entrance, follow the driveway as it curves left into the parking lot. After parking, cross the footbridge and follow the sidewalk, to the right, into the museum entrance.
